During our first meeting, we will discuss with you your ideas and will get a feel from you as to what your personality and wedding theme are. Our goal is to design an exquisite invitation package that exceeds your expectations. From this meeting a rough design direction and concept is developed and we will get an idea of your timeline and provide you with an estimated quote. This consultation can be in person, by email or by telephone. However, we strongly encourage you to visit us in person so you can see the paper and color options that are available.
quote and deposit
You’ll receive a quote based on the results of your consultation. Your approval of the quote, along with a 50% deposit, authorizes us to begin working on your invitations.
the fun begins!
Once we receive all needed details from you, such as wording, dates, etc., we will go to town on your design. Your quote includes the initial layout and design and one round of edits. Additional edits are billed at $25 each round.
After your design and all revisions have been completed, you will receive a final PDF proof for your approval. Upon receipt of your approval, we begin production. Please check your final proof carefully. Wedding Ink is not responsible for errors on approved proofs. Any reprinting costs are the responsibility of the client, and deposits or final payments will not be refunded. The final balance of your order is due at this time. Any additional charges, such as assembly and shipping will be due when your order is ready to ship.
After we receive your final approval the printing process begins. Typically, the printing process can be completed in 48 hours, however this is dependent on the quantity and complexity of the order.
Typically, orders do not include assembly. We can provide assembly services starting at $2 per invitation, and can provide you an estimate for assembling your invitation set. Assembly will require additional time after your printing is completed.
Upon receipt of your final payment, your order is securely packaged and shipped via your preferred method. If you are local, you are more than welcome to schedule a time to pick up your package.
The time it takes for your invitations to be designed and produced can vary significantly. Factors such as how quickly you make decisions, communicate them to the designer, and how many rounds of edits you have will affect the overall timeline. Be sure to allow extra time if you wish to show your designs to family and friends. At a minimum, allow four to six weeks from your initial consultation to design, produce and ship your order.
Orders may be cancelled at any time. Amount of refund is subject to administrative costs and any work performed or materials purchased.
